Why do we require valid Identification?

     Welcome to Datging By Storm, (hereafter DBS)!    As you may have already discovered, DBS is not like other dating apps and sites currently in existence.  We aim to make each user safer, and the site safer over all by making sure the people who use the site are who they say they are.

     Online darting in the past has been plagued with issues, from catfishing to spam, and even scamming.  These are the things we are looking to prevent.  By having everyone present a valid ID and verification photo, as well as not featuring free use of the site, we are able to do the following:

1.  Ensure every user that other members they are interacting with are verified and real people.  Not people from other sites trying to draw traffic, not catfishers, and not spam bots.

2.  Track abuse, in the event something were to slip through in the above regards, we have the necessary information to deal with the person or persons involved and ban them from the site on a permanent basis.

3.  Hold all users accountable for their actions on the site, and also off.  If something criminal were to happen through one of the members of the site to another member, and it is properly reported, we then have the means to aid law enforcement where necessary, and again, ban said members from the site.
